Ephesians 6:16 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

  1. the wicked one – the Enemy, the Serpent (Genesis 3) Satan (2 Corinthians 11:14), the Devil (John 8:44), a murderer and the father of lies (John 8:44), a thief that steals, kills and destroy (John 10:10)
  2. all the fiery darts – to dismantle one’s faith in Christ.
    3. Let me give you a few common fiery darts the wicked one throws:

    • Lies (Genesis 3)
    • Lawlessness: Iniquity (Isaiah 53:6)
    • Loss: (Job 1)
